On a plane to Nashville for Blissdom, but had time for a (not quite) wordless Wednesday
Although France has my heart, I do love Italy. In October 2007, my husband and I spent time in Rome, Florence and Venice and had a wonderful time. I was sorting through my photos last weekend and ran across ones from this trip. There are many anecdotes that I can tell and tips on mistakes not to make (since I have done them for you!) so I will probably start slipping some of those in during the next couple of weeks.
When I think of February I think of carnival in Venice. I don’t think I would actually ever want to go to Venice during that time. I don’t like crowds, it’s usually cold and rainy. After walking around Venice for three days I can tell you it is not easy to navigate when the sidewalks and bridges are dry, I could not imagine them wet. Or rather I cannot imagine me walking on the wet walkways as I am prone to clumsiness and would definitely end up in the water!
But Venice is fascinating and I would enjoy sharing some stories. So I will start weaving in some photos and stories of Italy, how does that sound?

Beautiful. I LOVE Italy
Yes, please!
I love Italy! I have been to Venice twice, but I haven’t been to Rome yet.
Tell us some of your adventures!
Fantastico!
Can’t wait to see you in Nashville, il mio amico!!
Have fun at Blissdom. Can’t wait to hear about it.
I’m heading to Nashville this March. lol. Hope you enjoy yourself!
Also, I love this photo! So beautiful! Italy has been on my list of places to go for quite some time now. It must have been incredible.
Terrific photo! If I can ever get myself on a plane (i.e. be rendered unconscious throughout the entire trip), Italy is on the top of my list.
What a gorgeous picture!!!
Smooches,
Sassy Chica
Have fun at Blissdom:)
Have fun at Blissdom! Wish I could be there! Can’t wait to hear about it!!
I went to Venice in early Feb, 1990. It was wet but beautiful because there were very few tourists and the water didn’t smell. I’d love to go back again sometime; especially since you posted that lovely picture.
Magnifique =^^=
Merci Yuko, c’est sympah.
