So the original plan was to have Laurie of You Must Take Your Chance guest-post today, but family commitments came up (which I TOTALLY get) and she was unable to get her post to me before I left. Instead we are going to spotlight her instead!
I only recently met Laurie when she commented on my blog. But we have quickly become fast friends. She is new to blogging, but you’d never know it, she is picking it up like a pro! She is a very talented writer. Nonplussed by this new medium that she has enthusiastically latched onto, she has a great time experimenting with new things on her blog. She is not afraid to ask when she doesn’t know something and is very open to absorbing everything. I think I like her openess because I think she feels exactly like I did when I started blogging. It was like, “where have you been all my life?”
She has made me part of her Golden Blogroll (pretty cool) and is heading to Blissdom so we can meet in person. I am going to introduce her to Alisa, Paula and Jody!
She has great weekly features like Cartoon Saturday and Poetry Girl Sunday.
