I’m so thankful that my little girl with special needs is currently healthy and hitting interesting milestones each day (learning how to get off the couch safely and digging in Mommy’s purse at age 3 both happened this week!)
I’m thankful for my other kid, who cracks me up, and my husband, who is better than I ever knew he’d be.
I could go on and on. But I’ll stop there. :)

I am thankful that I have been given so many blessings in life and also for the opportunity to give back. Too many people take things for granted. I appreciate everyone and everything in my life and I try to spread some of my good fortune to others who haven’t been so lucky.

i’m most thankful for my family. although we don’t always agree with everyone, and they may not like all the choices i make (i’m 25, so i’ve changed a bit since i lived with them!), they always tell me they love me and how proud they are of me. it’s nice to know that if something goes wrong (aka i lose my job), i have a place to stay! my bedroom from h.s. is still there waiting for me.

I am thankful that I have my health, and for the time being everyone in my family is also healthy. It seems like without health, you have nothing and unfortunately sometimes it takes some rough spots in order to truly appreciate the easy times.

blythe December 15, 2009 at 9:26 pm

my marriage. though it is relatively new compared to others (2 months), the 6 years prior consisted of hard work, hard times, long distance, longing for each other, and real human being growth. we are far from our ideal of time spent together (he is a resident and works 90 hour weeks in the hospital) but we are happy, healthy, and together under the same roof! for me, that is all I need in this world.

Teal December 16, 2009 at 8:06 am
