It’s New Moon Day! Well, officially last night at midnight, but hey, I was sleeping. Also, did you know New Moon opened on the 18th in Paris? Bet some of you you wish you were France now, don’t you?
As the President of S.P.L.A.T. (SANE Professional Ladies [who] Adore Twilight) it is my obligation to uphold the sanity portion of my name by not seeing the movie on the opening weekend. I am not one for all the screaming teenage girls (and non-teenage girls uh-hum) and will stay away until the hub-bub dies down.
Hey, I didn’t even see Twilight in the theater, in fact I stayed away from the movie for a long time convinced that it could not be as good as the book. It wasn’t but I loved it all the same. I have no intention of missing the opportunity of seeing New Moon on the big screen, I am just not seeing it during the opening.
But I wanted to celebrate with everyone who has been counting down the days, after all, it is New Moon Day! So I have a copy of the New Moon soundtrack to giveaway!

I think I’m going to wait until it comes out on pay per view. I found the first movie to be very disappointing. This one looks better, but I’m still not planning to spend $10 on it

You know, I waited for a long time to watch Twilight at the big screens. I stayed away from all the news and hooplah connected to the Twilight movie because I was afraid that it would shatter my imagination of the characters from the book and it wouldn’t be able to match up to the creativity of the book.
I finally went to watch it on my friends and colleagues’ insistence as they liked it and I thought the acting was poor and awkard but I was glad I watched it.
New Moon held an excitement for me this Friday but I didn’t go to watch it at midnight. I would’ve liked that but it didn’t happen so I am hoping to catch it in the coming days, hopefully on my b’day this Thursday. What a great gift it would be to win this giveaway
I found the movie promos much better this time around and it feels like its going to be better than Twilight. Jacob/Lautner looks absolutely fantastic!
