Interested in traveling to France or reading about French culture or French events here in the U.S.? There are lots of weekly newsletters out there that can provide insider tips and tricks for you. I receive quite a few and have my favorites and thought I would share them with you.
One of my absolute favorites is My Little Paris. It is chock full of cool Paris information. There is a weekly highlighted article about shopping or eating, and it is always good info.
Another favorite is Le Petit Journal, an English-French mixed eNewsletter put together by France Today magazine. You can buy the magazine in Barnes & Nobles and Borders bookstores, but don’t waste your money. I find the paper versions to be expensive and not as good as the online version.
If you can read French, France-Amerique magazine does a weekly newsletter that targets people living in the United States. It covers things like French film festivals in the U.S.; French restaurant openings or visiting chefs from France. In addition it covers news topics.
Mireille Guiliano of French Women Don’t Get Fat fame has a newsletter that is associated with her website called The French Women Newsletter. It is pretty good although sometimes she uses it to push her books to much. But there is good content and I enjoy it.
Lastly, an email newsletter that I get and read everyday (available in both English and French) is France 24′s daily news digest. It actually covers news stories from around the world, but does have special focus on France.
