Remember when they closed the bridge over Labor Day Weekend? I heard ALL about it from Steve’s grumblings–he’s here there & everywhere so he uses the Bay Bridge alot. If I recall they were planning to keep it closed for Labor Day monday or tuesday ….but they finished the fix-job early before morning rush hour. I distinctly remember wondering about that and thinking, maybe it’s not such a great thing to be fixing a bridge in such huge hurry!?
Amazing that no one was hurt. Hope it’s not a huge inconvenience for you & your husband.

Hey there, I’ve seen you on both Camels and Chocolate and the other Andi’s blog! I live and work in SF but a few of my coworkers live across the bridge. One said that it took him 2 hours to get from Oakland to the SF yesterday… not the best way to start a day. I hope they get it fixed quickly!
