Street sign in Asheville, NC. Sept 2009
This is the photo that Julie asked about on last week’s Wordless Wednesday #31 – you see it was Julie who spotted the sign as we were searching for a place to eat and as you can see the light is green – and we were supposed to be going through – she held up traffic so I could get the photo!
P.S. Yes, I know the above is not very wordless!

The river running through Asheville is called the French Broad as well. Supposedly, it was named that because it once flowed into French colonial territory. It’s one of those rare rivers that flows south to north–which regularly confuses tourists and seems very French of it, don’t you think?
Yippeeeee! This is what I call sweet fruition. Good times, good times. We’d known each other IRL for all of about 5 minutes, but it felt like a lifetime. I miss you!!!
That’s hilarious!
