I was just talking about this with some of my blogging buds a couple of weeks ago. But it had been awhile since I’d seen one of these, that is until yesterday in the Target parking lot.
If you have to have one of these stickers on your car, please be smart about. Don’t put your CHILDREN’s names on your car! It’s like…”hello, Mr. Kidnapper, please have the names of my kids so that when you try to have a conversation with them you will know the name of their siblings and parents!”
“Hello Emily. Your Mom asked me to pick you up from school today. I already picked up Zachary and Nicholas and they are at your house having pizza, we better hurry up so you can get a slice too!”
Don’t be dumb.

The first time I saw these was in Salt Lake at the PRSA conference a few years ago. They were on all the mini vans. Big Mormon families, I guess. Some of them include the pets’ names. It was kind of weird, actually.
I didn’t know this kind of sticker exist.
But I really think people shouldn’t put their children name. You’re totally right !
I have never seen stickers like this before, but what you say is so right. There are so many predators out there looking for opportunities. There are over 2,000 missing children in South Africa and seemingly little chance of finding them.
It is such a sad indictment on society.
Ugh! I totally agree! So stupid to put that sticker on your car. We saw these all over Florida when we lived there…anyone who watches “America’s Most Wanted” would know that child predators love to hide in Florida!
