FANTASTICAL interview! I’m now madly in love with Celia Rivenbark – and not just because her name kicks major bum. And not just because her name ‘wants to be’ Riverbank – and I’m sure that pisses people off. And not only because she thinks I’m un-lazy for writing on my blog without getting paid (and that she didn’t come right out and say that I’m an idiot). But, because she is hilarious. Can’t wait to check out these books!!!

The worst thing about being a Southerner? Only one, really. And that’s dealing with the crazy notion that just because we talk slower that we’re not smart. We’re just savoring the journey’s all.

That couldn’t be MORE true and I’m totally using that line from now on when I get picked on for being southern!!!

Nice interview, Ms. A. I had no clue Early Girl serves Red Velvet. I’ve been staying away from it because a local chef told me how much red dye it contains (and because heaven has calories, sadly), but the Early Girl’s all natural and healthy, so I’ll have to find out if they do it without the dye (beet juice?). And honey, we need to expand your literary education. Southern writers rock.
