More questions taken from Dawn of Thoughts from Along the Broken Road, I am taking the easy way out as I continue to prep for the coming week and my road trip.

In bed, surfing the web on my laptop.
2. What’s your favorite way to eat tomatoes?
Just are my favorite way for lunch…sliced with fresh basil, salt + pepper and oil + vinegar. It’s funny, I never liked tomatoes until after I was 30, but now I love them, especially in the summer when it’s the real season and you buy them fresh – they are warm and sweet and so yummy!
3. Ok, let’s be honest. How often do you use your turn signals when you drive? Do you follow the rules or do you only use it when you feel it’s necessary?
I rarely drive anymore, but I’d say when I do, I use my turn signal about 50% of the time. I use it when I feel it is necessary.
4. This past week, were you more predator or prey?
I was a little of both!
5. What is the first tv show quote to pop into your head right now?
“How you doin’?” Joey quote from Friends.
6. When was the last time you went grocery shopping? Name 3 things you bought.
Yesterday. Cheese, biscotti, tomatoes.
7. What would the title of your autobiography be?
I would use my blog tag line: Merry musings of a feisty foodie slash lit-chickie slash globe-trotting wanna be Frenchie!
8. How many pieces of unopened mail are sitting wherever you put your unopened mail?
Zero, I open mail immediately.
9. What 5 emotions do you feel most often?
Lately: urgency, contentment, hope, stress and faith – odd mix, huh?
10. If you got a new pet right now, what would you name it?
I would name him Beau, no idea what my hubby would have in mind!

I don’t know what the hell i’m doing half the time. (stole this answer from Dawn!)
12. Choose a free gift: a daily back massage, dinner at a restaurant once a week, or a brand new book each month.
Oh, hard to choose between dinner and the book! I will go with resto, I love food and can read the internet for entertainment!
13. Name 3 foods that are currently in your freezer.
Boeuf bourguignon, lamb stew, duck confit.
14. If given the chance and you could pick the person, would you want to switch lives with someone on earth for one whole day?
I think I would try being President Obama for a day to see what it is like.
15. How much cash do you usually carry with you?
I am horrible about having cash on, so I’d say less than $20.
16. How are you today?
A little tired, Jessica (my cat) hogged the pillow all night and talked a lot which kept waking me up, so did not sleep so well.
17. What’s the scariest weather situation you’ve experienced?
Tornadoes while living in Kentucky, out-running a hurricane while on a cruise and trying to drive through a snow storm in France.

i love these things. you’d think i wouldn’t, but i do. i think i’m going to swipe this. i had such a dry spell posting the last two weeks or so. i can save it for the next dry patch i hit.
