Turn your blog into a book

by Andi on June 15, 2009

Have a blog that you have had for a while and would like to put together the content into a book? Then look no further than Blog2Print. I first spotted this on my blog friend Diane’s site, Diane Weber Quilt Art. Diane is another frenchie (who lives near me!) and a very talented artist.

The idea of turning your blog into a book seems like a great gift idea, particularly if you are a Mommy (or Daddy) blogger who writes about your kids – putting together the posts into a book you can give them when they’re older seems like a wonderful idea. If you are a photo blogger, it is a great way to put your photos together to create books for purchase.

Blog2Print works with Blooger, Typepad and WordPress. You can pick and choose which posts to include and if you want to include comments. I think it is a “novel” idea (I couldn’t resist!) the pricing seems very reasonable.

Thanks, I always wondered about whether such a service existed.

I'd love to do this someday and have researched it a little too. QOOP and Blurb are 2 more on-line services. Q does photo books and Blurb does blog to book conversion. I tried it with blurb. The sequencing becomes very interesting when you have facing pages….it really helped me see how book considerations are different from blog ones. Fun!
