During the month of April, I participated in Problogger’s 31 Days to Build a Better Blog Challenge. It was very insightful, and I really enjoyed the project. I think that it is something that should be done at least twice a year to keep my blog fresh and usable. I have been meaning to do my recaps for a month now, and have finally got a chance to do it. So here are the first 10 days of the challenge and the learnings I discovered and activities I completed.
- Day 1: Create an elevator speech
- Day 2: The list post
- Day 3: Promoting a post
- Day 4: Analyze a top blog in your niche
- Day 5: Email a blog reader
- Day 6: Tips from the Pros
- Day 7: Write a link post
- Day 8: Interlink your old blog posts
- Day 9: Join a forum
- Day 10: Alerts
The other reason I was prompted to do this recap (Days 11-20 and 21-31 are coming) is due to the fact that Problogger is offering the project in a workbook now, which I think is really cool. I plan on buying one for my next “cleansing”!
There is extra content that Darren has put in there that is not on the website, so that is something that gives me an incentive as well. I highly recommend trying out this project, I got a lot out of it!
