Twitter with the Dalai Lama?

by Andi on February 9, 2009

The Dalai Lama is twittering! I got a Google Alert about this morning, although it must be old news, as he already has over 13,000 followers! If you are interested he is located at http://twitter.com/ohhdl. OHHDL stands for Office of His Holiness The Dalai Lama.

Does anyone know if the Pope is up for the Tweet?

Epilogue (added 2/23/09, 3:20 p.m.): As you now know, the account turned out to be fake. And today, Simon Owens was kind of enough to alert me to a great article he has written on this topic.

Hi! I found your blog by just browsing around! Cool stuff! Also, you seem like an experienced blogger (I’m relatively new), so what is twitter all about? Thanks!

Hello Breanna:
Twitter is a social networking and micro-blogging service that allows its users to send and read other users’ updates (otherwise known as tweets), which are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length.

I am going to be putting up some resource info on my biz site this week. You can catch them there at: http://www.youronlinegotogal.com
