Before I start, a couple of my readers have promised not to do anything too exciting while I am on vacation, I am going to hold you (all) to it…don’t do anything I might miss….
Any way, I ran across this really cool writing tool that was mentioned on Don’t Call me Kathleen’s blog. It is an imagination prompt which sits on a creativity portal. You click for a prompt and that can serve as inspiration for writing, whether it be a poem, a blog post, an essay, whatever.
As it is the last day before I head off for vacation, I thought I would take the easy way out by responding to 5 prompts from the site. So here goes:
- What are your beliefs?
- I believe in the inherent goodness of people, but that there are a lot of idiots out there.
- I believe in being generally happy for today. Not dwelling on the past or holding grudges, not focusing too much on the future.
- I believe there is something out there, but everyone is free to follow whatever religion they want to, I personally do not follow any.
- I believe in love.
- I believe in change and think Obama can turn this country around with the help of other people who believe in change too.
- I believe in the power of social media used correctly.
- I believe in respecting people’s differences.
- I believe in quality over quantity.
- When I’m depressed…
- I sleep
- If I have to ask for help.
- I absolutely hate it. I prefer when others need my help, I am much better at that.
- What five things in life give you joy?
- My husband
- My cat
- Food
- Books
- Travelling
- Are you pleased with what you look like? If you could change any part of myself what would it be?
- Better hair
- A few more inches in height
- Abs of steel with no effort at all
