Several of my friends have been pinging me about the Twilight series….okay, some more than others, and you know who you are (CM!). It is all over Facebook flair and I hear people talking about it on BART. Even the author of Bitter is the New Black (see post from Oct 2), Jennifer Lancaster, recently talked about it on her blog on different occassion. She has written 3 crazily successful books and her reward for completing the draft of her fourth for her publisher? Twilight.
I started the first book yesterday afternoon after finishing Eat, Pray, Love and have already read half. Yeah, I don’t get it either, it is completely inexplicable how my pre-40 friends and even some of their mothers (and now me) are completely engrossed in these books targeted to teenagers? I don’t get it, can’t help it, but gosh darn it, I am hooked!
Nobody tell me what happens or I will kill them!
